My jolly kids”
Otis loves ice cubes. Whenever he hears the ice dispenser growling he bolts to the refrigerator and gives you the sad puppy eyes. We give him a cube and he starts chomping down and making crunching noises. Sometimes the ice will escape and shoot across the floor. Otis chases after, full stumps ahead. The only issue is that he never finishes off the cube. He always leaves a little piece to melt on the floor. Which means I will most certainly step on a near freezing wet spot. At first I am shocked and I might even use profanity to express my feelings about this cold puddle beneath my foot. But then relief sets in, because if it is cold, I know it isn’t pee.
